Title: Stainless steel electric boiler
Post by: simglynn on July 22, 2020, 11:42:36 AM
Hi folks. I have been using the Peco electric mashing bin as a boiler. The electrical control box had a melt down, and the element is no longer receiving power. While I can replace the controller, or else use a standard kettle lead with an Inkbird, I'm looking for something quite sturdy and long lasting. I know BrewFerm have boilers but they're too small and lack the power for a proper boil.

What do you guys use?

I use a klarstein mundschenk xl. It's a 45l capacity 3kw boiler with a removable grain basket and re-circ pump. I really like it. It's the same as the brewmonk or hopcat or angel brew system. Just branded differently. Bought mine as b-stock from HiFi-tower.ie
