Guys we are going live with the membership soon and we are forming a team to ..
- help design and distribute business cards to give to people interested in becoming members
- promote membership
- recruiting new members
- help design membership packs
You can do as little or as much as your free time allows
- but ultimately hoping to get about 6 people involved - many hands make light work ...

- recruiting new members
How about a "Youth" wing?? :-[ (I'll get me coat.....)
I'll take a wedge of business cards and posters (if there are any) and look at distributing them in some of the South Dublin craft haunts.
Great stuff
- Thanks Conor - I'll put you on the team - even if you just do that - its another shoulder behind the wheel !
I'm in.
How are we set for issuing membership cards at the moment?
I'd like if we could get that on the road asap, and we can get the membership packs out for June or July. What I mean is I'm willing to pay my membership now because I want to buy things from Mcquillans and get me discount!!!
I don't have enough time to help out until June 5th at the very least! Between two exams and my BJCP/Cicerone tastings I'll be snowed under until my last accounting exam on June 4th!
The cards are ready to rock - but really need to do things in order...
I'm in, there isn't a week that goes by without a brewer who hasn't heard of us coming into the pub.
Re: The business cards:
Use the mebership card design but remove the member related stuff and highlight the web-site!!
I'm in - just let me know.

I agree, keep it consistent!
QR Code pointing to a sales page that shows all of the benefits available to members and non members!
Maybe a list on the back of the card of membership benefits, and general website benefits!
Lads, does anyone really use QR codes?
List the benefits of club membership i.e. cheaper ingredients, tasting nights, brew days and brewery visits.
Yeap - we need to 'sell' the club alright.
Thanks for the help - I will open a team area.
What sort of numbers are we looking at membership wise?
The company i work for may be able to offer some reductions but would depend on numbers. Nothing brew related but would hopefully benefit all members.
I'll give time to the Membership team if numbers are needed.
I'd be interested in being part of the membership team from a local point of view. I am constantly meeting new and prospective brewers, and would like to guide them towards the NHC. Business cards would be very handy for that.
Guys - we filled the team - so thanks to
Paddy / Irish Goat / Cara / Sub2 / DaMun and Taf for volunteering - we appreciate you taking the time to get involved.
I'll lock up this topic - all the above should have access to the membership work area - if you dont - drop me a PM
Thanks again
James (P9)
