Should have left my wallet at home.
Seven different lager / pale ale kits (Coopers, Geordie, Young's, Brewbuddy, John Bull to name a few, all below €10 a kit), Coopers BE1, carbonation drops, caps. Surprisingly well stocked and a good place to start shopping for noobs like myself.

And the HBC starter kit and bottles are on their way...

I'll check the expiry dates this evening. Might start the first brew as the HBC order is scheduled for today.

Don't worry about best before dates on tins of gloop, I've heard of ten year old kits being brewed on Jims, a few months will make no difference. The wort gets darker is all really.

i was down there at lunch time, they still have some kits and other bits and pieces. Co2 refills, some stuff for wine kits like stabilizer, citric acid - they had Geordie kits, Youngs and two Coopers English Bitter, but the dates on them were 8/6/2013 - so i wasnt sure if they were June or August, but seeing the above comment, i should have taken a punt on one. I picked up a Youngs Harvest Scottish Heavy and a Geordie Mild, and some Campden tablets.
