Title: One for the bottlers
Post by: RichC on February 13, 2013, 09:53:46 PM
I bottle everything and since I've streamlined my process my bottling speed has increased a lot. Stuff like the bottling tree and particularly bottle rinser have given me dramatic speed ups. I think this is ingenious and although I've nothing in FV at the moment, I'll be doing this on my next batch

I absolutely hate everything about bottling (except opening them of course  :D), I'm very tempted to do this!

2 people bottling at the same time would make very short work with this set up  ;D

Timed myself today. Bottled 44 bottles in 18.5 minutes, then capped them all and crated them in another 8.5minutes. I think the sanitising on the vinator took around 3 minutes for all 44, didn't time that accurately.
Obviously that doesn't include the other stuff like gathering the bits required and preparing priming solution

I actually enjoy bottling, I get into a rhythm and find it quite relaxing. It takes me between 35 and 45 mins to bottle 22 litres not including cleaning and sanitising the bottles.

That's pretty good! When can I drop mine over to you to be bottled? ;)
Drop it over anytime, I work on a percentage (50) :)
