Title: Full Extract?
Post by: Covey on May 06, 2013, 08:45:59 PM
Hi Lads,
I did this brew last week, bit of a bungel. Anyways i put all the grain in three bags and put but in the pot (14 litres) at 67C for an hour pulled out the bags and ran water of 80c through to get what was left in the bags, brought it to 21 litres and boiled for 1hr and added the hops at the correct time, floc tablet in the end i got 0.1065. So with no extract used was this my first all grain, bit confused. Oh yeah was in the jacks with the pot in the bath (no chiller) till 2am loaded started at 8pm! I  does mention 3kg of malt extract which was'nt in the pack but there was about 6kg of grain. On second thought they might have sent me the bottom one  ::)

Looks like you accidentally brewed an all grain batch
