First time using it john,I was sure I had some Crystal when I went to brew that but didn't.had'nt planned on using special B.so used it sparingly in its place. When used in larger amounts than I've used it has a heavy caramel and raisin, roasted nutty-sweet flavour I read. I plan on using it if I ever get around to brewing a barley wine where its supposed to lead a plum-like flavor if used in larger amounts again, hav'nt worked out how much yet thinking 2 - 2.5% of grain bill.
