Title: Interesting presentation on blending apples to make cider
Post by: admin on May 17, 2013, 12:28:09 PM
With a nod to doing it again this year. (I pretty much ruined my group buy batch)

IIRC 80% of our blend was Dabinett, but I think I was told that it Dabinett should be less than 50%

Last years apple juice was 90% Dabinett, 10% Bramley.
It can be used as the base for blends or drunk on its own as per Sheppys famous single varietal Dabinett.

Lovely golden hue and just perfect slightly carbonated on a hot day like today.

Lucky you! I bottled 8 bottles and they've gotten worse, not better. Really stink of mercaptan now.

:(  I'll get a bottle or 2 to you, and oh and bring one to the SCD insertion day  ;D
