At Mulligans in Stoneybatter is the launch of the next Brown Paper Bag Project beer. Oxman is a 5.8% brown ale brewed by Brian, Colin and myself and it would be nice to have a NHC presence if anyone is free!
OK, do tell. What exactly is this aforementioned wino wrapper project (and I might fancy a pint tomorrow night ...).
I'm trying my best not to go as I'm studying, but I might wander in for one later in the evening!

It is the brewing arm of L Mulligan Grocers & W J Kavanghs. Brewery planned for Dublin, gypsy brewing at present. First beer was a red Belgian style beer brewed at 8 degrees by BPBP head brewer Brian Short and Colin Hession (co-owner of aforementioned businesses and beer head). Second beer being launched tomorrow was brewed at Dancing Duck in Derby by myself, Brian and Colin and is pretty awesome.
More beers due for launch over the remainder of the year.
Forgot to say the first is called Dr. Rudi, after the hops used.
And at what time?
Getting thirsty ..
I wont be there but I wish ye the best of luck. Great to see a commercial release from someone on the site. Where can Dr Rudi be purchased?
Yeah,ye have twisted me arm,I will be in.
7 bells start. There are BPBP flags hidden around Oxmantown Rd (and Manor St I THINK) for free pints.
It's Oxman being launched tonigh-not Dr. Rudi. Im off there now to sample the cask for the first time eeeekkkkk (don't worry someone else has tasted-its goooddddddd)
good luck! enjoy!!
Made a late appearance to try out the new beer, really enjoyed it!

Apologies to Cathal OD and his lovely main squeeze, Emma, for thinking it was *their* wedding that Cathal was being fitted out for. But lads for what it's worth ye make a lovely couple!
Dont be embarrassing me
:-[
The beer was lovely by the way. My "lovely sqeeze" emma isn't a fan of cask but she loved this. I will definately be calling up to Kavanaghs for a few pints from the cask.

I'm looking forward to having a pint of it myself, hopefully it will be on next tuesday for the capital brewers meetup!
A good point raised by Tube, she'll run off on you if ya don't chain her down! When's the wedding?
Is someone doing a front page write up about this? ;-) Cara?
Is the plan to have this on cask fairly regularly?
