My 17 year-old is talking about going. I brought her and a mate to the Reading Festival two years ago and it was a river of piss. I don't know how we didn't get cataracts. Literally, there was piss everywhere, and you couldn't get away from the smell of it.
Not keen on her going to EP unless it's a whole lot more civilised, but still not keen on her camping in case the campsite is a lake of piss.
I believe Lake Of Piss are playing EP this year
Great fest. You should go yourself. You'd enjoy it. Great food & atmosphere. Much more relaxed & mature than most fests.
I was there 2 years ago with 2 11yr olds, a 9yr old and a 5yr old.
There's kids, beer, and all that goes with it.
You should go with her!
As far as I remember the ep is over 18s. Kids under 12 are allowed with a parent. They're pretty strict about it too. Never been myself but a mate takes the family every year.
Ive camped in the regular camp site & Ive slept in the van in the car park. There are fancier "glamping" options if you dont mind paying extra.
Yeah, no teens, I'm afraid. Great festival though. Great vibe. I think I was the pissedest there was. Dead civilised.
Go every other year. As others have said already...It's relatively civilised. She's got taste! But go too 8)
Park this thread til next year so! ;)

Nah, Zeppelin tribute bands are all rubbish in my experience. The drumming just isn't right
Sorry...I can get with that at all....his voice is all wrong, and the drums just fall flat (all 3 of them)
being to 5 EPs I think, 4 great wends and 1 not so great. plenty of good folk down there but will be a small amount of muppets and a few scummers.
at 17 she could be asked for ID and it's over 18s. plenty of smaller festivals and non camping festivals on this summer which might be a bit better.
you got to go to this its grate

Have you been?
yep been a few times with brother. also the reading one
I've got my tickets. Been every year since 2005. Felt like I was getting a bit old for the campsite last year so booked the fancy pants boutique camping for this years.
campervan for me. going next year with a bit of luck.
to much to do this year. with house move.
A campervan would be nice alright. Although I'm looking forward to not having a big walk from my tent to the main area this year. Campervan field is at the far end of things.
