Title: Little Tikes wort chiller
Post by: Garry on March 12, 2013, 12:56:17 AM
I was cooling my wort in the kitchen sink. When I looked out the window I see the kids sand pit full of water with half an inch of ice on top. I couldn't resist! Went from 70 degrees to 30 degees in about 5 minutes! This cold weather has it's advantages for brewing  ;D

It was too cold last night for cats or tadpoles ;D

I was stirring the wort in one direction and stirring the ice water in the opposite direction with my hand! If Mcgyver built a counter flow chiller this is what it would look like? Except he would probably have worn gloves; I think I have a touch of frost bite today :-[ The beer better be good.
