Some of you may have noticed that I've not been as active with the actual brewing and stuff in the last year or two, well the reason was that I was drinking very little.
I had some weird symptoms after a session, pain in the chest, in the left arm, all sorts of scary stuff which had me worried.
Well the worry is over I was diagnosed with a hiatus hernia in the Hermitage clinic on Saturday.
The big ones are all counted out now and I'm a lot happier and am happy to go back to drinking my homebrew, possibly a lot more moderately than in the past though.
Coming shortly....brew on.
Glad to see your are on the mend :)
that's great news Eoin, onwards and upwards and an all that :) :)
Missus johnrm has one of them.
Little and often on the food.
Avoid heavy sauces and foods.
She still gets in the odd beer ;-)
Avoid anything with aspartame religiously ( and I mean religiously )
Don't be afraid to get in shape and lose a little bit of the beer belly if you have one ( it helps as clothes become loser fitting )

Aspartame is the devil, I already avoid any sweeteners except stevia as I can't stomach the chemical shite.
I have been looking after myself and cycle to work daily, but since the baby was born I've not been out jogging or doing as much physical excercise.
