Title: Stout Tap
Post by: slayerking on May 27, 2013, 09:32:13 PM
I have a brand new stout tap (never used) that I recently purchased but it doesn't suit my set up (incorrect threading for my tap font) so I'm gona let it go.

Its all chrome, very solid build quality. The restrictor disk can also be removed so the tap can function as a regular tap also.
It has half inch threading at the shaft and a John Guest push fit at the back.

Would suit anyone who wants to drill a hole in a fridge door (or already has drilled holes) and fit it that way. Might not suit beer towers/fonts.

Whats the deal with hooking these taps up to your system over the standard fittings?  I havent bought one yet as Ive no experience with john guest fittings. Thanks.  ps. Pint looks great!

@ Rossa they are flow restrictors taps came from Norm.
@ Hop, on this tap there is a push fit JG fitting which is 5/16 which is a pain as my other line is 3/8's, slayerking kindly gave me some tubing that came with the tap.
On my other taps they push fit over a barb with a jubilee clip holding them on.
