First run of my portable party keg :P
Happy with it.Still need to be finished but could not wait.
Thats hilarious and I'm guessing works a treat, do you pour ice down between "the shit pipe" and the corny or is there any need?

I wanted to but forgot to get the ice.The keg was about 6 deg when I put it in and when we drank the last pint ??? it was still ok.
I like it.
How about this...
Place Corny in refusack.
Place corny and bag in pipe.
Squirt Expanding foam between bag and pipe.
Messy, but would it work?
Johnrm's idea of the foam to insulate is a great idea. You could then have a portable sort on thermos flask. :)
You would need to keep an eye on the foam that you can slide your corny out.
Either that or you could split the tube lengthways, Have hinges on one seam and a clasp on the other.
...attach Rucksack straps and you become the ultimate mobile pub ;)
what you would do would to be put a lube between the bag and the corny, a cross channel swimming whale fat if you will, and then its just the story of the boy pulling the turnip after that, what diameter pipe is that, I'm going to give it a go!
Trick is to make sure no creases on side wall of the bag, heavy gauge like a fertiliser bag would be best.

what diameter pipe is that
OD 31.5cm x 76cm
The lid and bottom I did on the table saw.
Still need to put handles on it.
That's cool. What kind of pipe is that? Its not your standard 4" domestic shite pipe is it??
My mobile keg jobbie consists of an ice-cold corny with a flow control tap on a stand that's cable tied to the handles of the keg. If it starts to go warm just leave it in a bucket of water with ice blocks in it. Sure the keg draws from the bottom so having the bottom third of the keg in ice water does the trick.
I normally leave it behind rather than dragging it all home in a taxi & hope that IsMise doesn't get through the whole lot of it before I collect it!! ???
Must look at making a jockey box though. Have a spare cooler box knocking about. Run 2 taps on it & the cooling pipes through it in ice-cold water would be handy for an outdoor session. Ideal if this summer weather stays around for a while! 8)
What do you do for gas?
