Title: Looking for a kitten
Post by: admin on June 04, 2013, 01:30:31 PM
Looking to adopt an 8 week old kitten, and getting a bit frustrated with the likes of http://catsfriendsrescue.com/ who want to visit my house and interview me and stuff.

Just promising I won't stick it in a bag with a concrete block and fire it in the canal should be enough!

Anyone looking to re-home one?

You do look shifty though!!

Are you building a nice bed for the cat near the grain store?

Had one of these "interviews" and they arent the spanish inquisition or anything i wouldnt worry. They just come round and check a few things out to make sure you are serious about the cat and arent going to get rid of it after a few weeks. As the website says they are rescue cats and they dont want to have to be rescuing them again a few weeks down the line.

Rattus rattus is the black rat, the one you're looking for is Norvegicus, the Norway rat, small, agouti coloured and they are quite smart and friendly.

I used to keep rats as pets, they are the coolest little animals.

And have a better sense of smell than a dog. Having a rat running around sniffing for Cocaine at the airport might not be the best way to welcome foreigners...

Well they were caged so it was irrelevant, but yes, it was before I started to homebrew.
