Just cracked open a keg of coconut stout. Not fully gassed yet, but just couldn't wait till tomorrow night. Really good. Went with about 1KG toasted coconut in this one and went more full bodied in the stout, ended at 1.020 at 4.5%. I mean really good! BBQ day tomorrow and smoking a huge rack of ribs so this will be a totally tropical refreshment. Whatcha all drinkin' on this fine night?
jam and coke, brew day tomorrow, ipa in the keg not quite ready
Just an aul' Red Hook or 2 and maybe some homebrew coffee stout that's probably still too green.
Bulmers?
Really?

It is cider weather! Not hopped cider though, not yet, let it age. Coco Stout going in well, just missing an umbrella and a slice.

Oxman Brown
Kindred Spirit
:) Beer and Food pairing in Kavanaghs was great. (I haven't noted the food as that would be off topic and make ye more jealous!!)

If I like the taste I'll drink it, regardless of who made it! And anyway I wouldn't put Bulmers in the same category as Coors Light, more the same category as Beamish. Mass produced but still completely acceptable.
I'd put it in the same category as Bacardi Breezer and put Beamish in the same category(but slightly higher up) as Guinness, mass produced and bland.
I way prefet Bulmer's cheaper little brother, Linden Village.
Goes down way too easy... ;D
Home brewed single hop pale ale (pilgrim)

Sam had his launch in the Folkhouse in Kinsale tonight and they had it on draft. Very tasty it was too. John should have some photos up at some stage as well.

Banned.
I brought 24 cans of Punk ipa & 24 cans of Dead Pony club to Body & Soul Festival last week so it all evens out.
Fullers IPA this evening....perfect thirst quencher after a long cycle home 8)
Earlier was drinking Robinson's Trooper - the Iron Maidan designed / inspired beer on cask - Really lovely - was a fresh cask as well - excellent beer
Later drinking a kegged Thwaites Lancaster bomber - again another brilliant beer.
[Opens Worm Can!]
Will be drinking it in the morning in the Aldwynian's rugby club watching the Welsh Lions trounce the Aussies!!
[Closes worm can]
Tonight its been all Magnum PA. Single hop pale ale (guess which hop). Genuinely the most sessionable beer I've brewed to date. Very light bodied and 6.5% which is the strongest drinkable beer I've brewed too (I still have bottles of a spiced imperial IPA gone wrong, give her time, she might come good yet). All because of a mix up in the last hop group buy, I would probably never have tried Magnum. My friends, keep those mix ups coming! 8)
Tonight I have been downing my celebration ale clone followed by my pliney the elder clone. Man this stuff is beautiful!!!! So hoppy. It's like liquid gold
Just hb stout and black IPA/hoppy stout. Think the black IPA/hoppy stout is starting to come good - there's a really strange taste in the background which seems to be dissipating.
