Title: Millars B3 mill
Post by: Dodge on June 10, 2013, 06:24:15 PM
Hi

We have a group buy for some mills going on. The one we are going to get is a very good mill with great specs compared to others out there. As its said you pay for quality.

The one we are getting is from Millars mills and its their B3 mill with hopper.

I am looking for the 6th and final taker.

Cost is €139 total which includes the dreaded customs charge. They are about €112 including postage

Any takers???

I watched the video earlier.
The product is sweet, yer man is fn disturbing.

I have a C&S 2S which has had a few runs and is REAL smooth.
I'm sure I'll find a home for it.

When are these things landing?

Looking for the 6th taker. Invoice should arrive soon and then we can organise purchasing them.

I am interested.
Please explain price above.
Do you mean 112 and 139 incl postage?
You say the invoice is due to arrive.
I'm not concerned with the invoice.Have you got the mills, are they in transit, or are they stuck in customs?

Post by: Dodge on June 11, 2013, 08:27:50 AM
Ok. Price for mill and hopper is 112 including postage. Customs charge roughly brings price to 139.

I have 5 people ready to purchase but since the mills are posted in two's I need a 6th taker.

I am waiting for the invoice so that I can make payment

I've me hand up, unless someone else is interested of course.

Ok here's the list

Dodge
Cathal O D
Alex Lawes
Trombyy
Damun

And Johnrm??

Can all pay €140 into the NHC account.

It's €140 I stead of €139 just to cover exchange rates as per Dempsy request which is sound.

Hi guys. Sorry for the very late reply!

With my extra night shift work I hadn't had time to chase and post up.

The mills are in my hands!
They had arrived a couple of days ago after been in custom clearance for a few days.

There is a little bad news in that the there was 1 mill short!  >:( but I have contacted Todd and he has apologized and has given me confirmation of posting out one.

Good news is that the mill is the best I have seen compared to the others ;D

Now I just need to organise where you are all based. I'm not from Dublin. I travel along the M4 onto the M50 to the airport. I'm off for a few days so won't be able to drop until then but hopefully I'll have everyone's area to organise the drop.

Again I'd like to thank you for your patience during this very long ordering process!

Dodge

Damien,
that would be fantastic! and very handy for me  :) Only if Dodge and all of you lads agree to that, coz I've joined this gb as last buyer (thanks to johnrm) and I don't mind waiting till the sixth mill comes, just to be fair to everyone.

Sorry guys, when I found out that there was a mill short I immediately contacted them to sort out the issue so there will only be the 6th sent out.

I should be able to pick it up next week.

I'll wait for this one and get the others delivered. I missed Damun yesterday but will organise to give him mills that people can collect off him

Thx for that, looks like I'm getting a pretty decent mill   :)

I've two brews where I need to us this, as the grain I got is not crushed. I'll post some info on the setup and use with a drill if anyone's interested.

Hey lads,

Dempsey dropped down the mill today and just assembled it there. Thanks for all the work on this.

Did you all receive a base for it though? There's no base in mine. just the mill and the hopper. No legs.
