Title: Hi all
Post by: Ed on June 13, 2013, 01:22:58 PM
Hi, my name's Ed, I'm based in Mornington which is just south of Drogheda.

I've just started homebrewing, I've wanted to do it for a while but had been a little stuck for time but got a starter kit at christmas and since then I've done a couple of kit brews (Coopers Canadian and St Peters Golden Ale - neither of which turned out as well as I'd hoped!  :D ) and I have a Coopers IPA I'm just about to bottle.

I'm interested in learning more about all grain brewing with a view to doing some myself, but for the moment I'm happy to stick to the kits while keep learning...

Welcome Ed,
You've come to the right place to learn.  There are some very knowledgeable people on here.
There are a couple of us brewers out in Donore/Duleek area so between us we could show you the ropes whenever you're ready to take the plunge into all grain.  (Jaysus that makes us sound like some kind of cult!)  We are members of the North County (Dublin) Homebrew club and there's always a spare seat in the Old Boro in Swords at the monthly meet ups.
