Title: Brew Haus
Post by: CARA on March 30, 2013, 12:31:20 PM
Seeing Damo's build has created a vision! I'm luckily enough to have a shed at the new gaff but the previous tennant built it himself and it's not perfect. I've had my eye on this setup ( http://www.hbd.org/kroyster/ ) for a while and with a bit of tweaking to the existing shed, I reckon it would look great out the back. I can't seem to adjust the size of the image so be prepared for big huge pictures.
Damo, be prepared for lots of questions :)

It needs quite a bit of work as it was just built straight up against the back wall with no floor. It's basically just one length with a roof so a complete re build will probably be in order although there is mains water and a separate electricity supply so that's a start.

Hi Cara

I'll happily answer any questions you may have!

The first thing I'd ask is how much you wanna spend?

My build was in the planning stages for what seemed like a very long time. I think I had 4 different designs before I eventually choose what I have.

I am lucky enough to have all the tools under the sun except for the power float. This obviously helps no end in terms of saving cash. and like I said I've had plenty time to scrounge and collect various bits n'pieces.

I was also working on a site with 7 new houses being built. I very nearly earned the nick name "Magpie" or even worse "skip Rat". and rightly so, an awful lot of my materials were either salvaged or donated.

On your build only you can decide whats best. i.e. how much you wanna spend.
Mine was completly OTT, but it's my own house and this was always going to be a once and for all job.

any advice you need, fire ahead!
