Title: Sweetener for a ginger beer
Post by: Shanna on June 21, 2013, 06:49:52 PM

Hi there

Anybody be able to advise me how much artifcial sweetener I should add to a 25 litre batch of ginger beer?
I want medium sweetness enough to take the c edge off the ginger but not overly sweet.

I bought one the stevia and two of the other.

Try taking a sample, say with a trial jar, and sweetening to taste with measured quantities and then scale up?

I find the little sweetener tablets the most convenient and 2 per 500ml bottle seems to suit me best.

Thanks guys for a finish I just put in the entire stevia container. Funnily enough it does not taste bad.
