Great turn out for this today in the Fran Well, and great to get talking to the Lee Valley lads -- all of them! Food for thought from a lot of the conversation as it's great to hear about the experiences of a club that pre-dates the NHC by quite a bit. A very successful day, well done to all involved.
Great to meet some new faces too, valuable contributors and supporters of brewing and the NHC, and of course some old ones! Spud was in fine form, looking fit, and I met MAF but didn't get a chance to chew the fat as I had to do a delivery to Carrigaline and he was gone by the time I got back.
Would have liked to have chatted to Shane Conroy from the Homebrew Company, but again my delivery run to Carrigaline meant we missed each other.
Had an interesting chat with Shane and Peter from the Well and how they'd like to support us, more in the members' area. The NHC banner has a new home until September a big thanks to the lads there for the offer.
And of course Taf still has all the moves! ;)
A very enjoyable day out, thanks to all involved and I'm looking forward to being back!
Hear Hear! Big thanks to Il Tuboid for the loan of the car to get us there lol Great to see all the Cork crew again and of course the lads at the Well.

Did he fook! He was blowing zeds in the back of the car!
He had two burgers in Supermacs, and Ronan reckoned the second one pushed him over the edge.
It was that green light that kept flashing up on the dashboard telling you to "SHIFT UP" that put me asleep!!

I undid all McGrath's damage!
Not quite... you lost any petrol you saved with all the failed attempts at parking the thing. Also, its gonna be a lot harder to drive my car with no tax since your mate called the gards on me. Apparently they spent a good while looking in the front window of my house at the hop plants in the window too...
