i put on a wheat beer yesterday. a bargain bin west riding wheat. i added amarillo hops, crushed coriander seed, orange vodka tincture, and wheat flakes and some crystal. when i poured the whole lot into the fermenter, within 5 minutes there was a cloudy colouring at the bottom of the fermenter, anyone know what this might be?
i boiled one of the (2can kit) cans for 20mins (i know they are hopped LME) merely thinking it'd just add a small bit of bitterness(i was adding more aroma anyway with a small amount of amarillo - 10g), could this be the cause? A guy also said to leave the slush at the bottom of the pot, but i usually squash the hops to get the juice out, is this wrong?
cheers in advance :)
Post a photo ;)
it seems to be fine, lookin more like yeast now, twas just weird that the moment i poured it in it formed immediately, musta dispersed eventually, id say the wheat bits must be heavier than the others... anything rather than havin to get off me arse and post a photo :)
