Title: Where can I get Silicone tubing handy?
Post by: JD on April 05, 2013, 02:03:41 PM
My Solar pump silicone tubing has been attacked by rodents and needs replacing. Solar Projects UK want nearly £40 P&P which is just ridiculous when all I want is a few metres of tubing.

Anyone know where I can get some locally? The HBC sell polythene tubing which I believe can withstand the temperatures of boiling wort. Can anyone confirm this?

Alternatively has anyone used any other locally sourced alternative?

Cheers
/J

If you are looking for a very wide range of silicon tubing, silicon vacuum tubing, sheets, o-rings and more I have used this bay shop several times:

Maybe a bit pricy but they have a huge range of stuff. The lower prices are per metre but they also sell 25 m coils
