Post by: RichC on July 07, 2013, 08:43:26 PM
Hi, elderflower champagne started today. I've some champagne yeast to add bu I also got wine yeast nutrient. Question is how do I use this yeast nutrient? Can I just dump the sachet in with the yeast?

I tended always to add it to any pot that I was boiling, I'd not sure it'd be healthy for yeast in concentrated form, it'd probably kill them actually just because of the high concentration of salts.
