Title: Invite to midlands
Post by: Dodge on July 09, 2013, 01:48:59 AM
Hi fellow Liffey brewers!

I'm trying to get some midland brewers together at my place for a brew day and the invite goes out to you all.

This would be a brewday/ homebrew tasting and drinking session/BBQ and camp out.
Location is my place.
The date would be the 10th Aug Saturday.

Might be interested.
Is it Moate you are located in? Galway buses serve there unless you are off the beaten track.

I'm 5 miles from Moate. There are buses running every hour I think through Moate so I can organise the pick up from there

When you say camp out....
Do you have space for me to park my camper?
Might be a better alternative to the bus for me.

Since I'm taking the van, I have 5 spaces going down.
Also a free berth overnight if you have a sleeping bag.

I'll be in a tent. All outside the back of the house. I'll pm all directions tomorrow.

What time are all coming down at?

If we want to eat at a reasonable hour I'll need to set the smoker by 12..it takes an hour to get up to temp and the ribs need 5 hours.. Shane can you leave by 11 at the latest.. I need to go through mullingar to pick up my gear

What time do you want us?
I see the smoker heading down for noon. Any time after that? Or a specific time that suits?

On google maps enter Kinmoon cottage and that points at our house.

Or from Dublin- M4, M6, turnoff for Moate, follow signs for Moate, when you enter Moate, turn first right signed for Ballymore, follow road for Ballymore, after passing through Moyvoughly take 2nd left at cross roads,(small shop on right called foxes), follow road and my house is on left as road starts to rise, about 4km from cross roads.

Or from Mullingar, follow on R390 headed for Athlone, after entering Ballymore continue through town and turn left at pub Rooneys just after petrol station, follow road and after sharp right hand bend, about 2km you will come to cross roads with small shop foxes on left, turn right and follow road and my house is on left as road starts to rise, about 4km from cross roads.

My number 0871343099 if stuck

I'll get water on at about 12 so look forward to having you all down.

As Tube said, but you can also install this (http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/).
Then you just right click an image and select the size you want. There's a tick box to resize original. Don't tick that unless you don't care about the original image quality.

What I do is right click the picture, then click "open with"  paint and then click Image in paint, next click "resize/skew, it offers width and height at 100%,I just change them to 25% and save. Picture I post are that size. :)
