Title: STC-1000 - Suitable for Heating and Cooling?
Post by: Kieran the Human on July 11, 2013, 08:29:33 PM

This STC-1000 says " Auto switch between refrigerating and heating"

Does anyone know if this would be suitable for a fermentation chamber (hooked up to a 60W lightbulb and a computer fan). As in, would the bulb kick in under a certain temp and the fan kick in above the certain temp?

Yes, yes and yes.
Buy 2 while you're at it; you'll need one for your Kegerator too.

1 in the herms tank
1 in the main fermenting fridge
1 in the small fermenting fridge
1 in the keg (serving) fridge
1 in the warm cabinet for bottle conditioning and culturing yeast
1 (soon to be) in the kitchen fridge
1 (soon to be) in the beer fridge/freezer
Almost enough!
