Title: August meet?

By my reckoning it's about the 17th?

17th sounds good to me 8)

Dunno if there'll be much being brewed at the mo with the heat so offerings could be thin on the ground (I have a ropey weissbier I need rid of though ;D)

I have a very overwarm fermented phenolic witbier. Not sure I can make the meeting but I bet you will love it Shane. At kegging time it was full of bandaid/tcp. Right up your alley  ;)

After having a couple of these weissbiers, all attending should have a few pints first and it tastes pretty good after

A ropey Weiss and a bandaid wit... It's not sounding too appealing so far.  ;)

Indeed it does clash on the date but what about the time? If it's a 7:30 start it should be possible to hop on a bus to Lucan.

If it's earlier, I won't be able to make it.

There is that.... Perhaps the Liffey Brewers meeting should take place in Kavanagh's for August? Have it after the BJCP. It'll probably be quiet anyway.

No, I think we'll just make it our area too. And then move on towards Bray...

And when you get to the Wicklow border and see three fellas sitting on a fence sucking straw telling you
"you ain't from around here boy and isn't she pretty",
you'll know its time to turn around.

ah well cant blame cara, they cant hav homebrewers clogging up the pub on probably their busiest day :)

are we back to plan 1

why dont we start a list of whos going to attend...its Irelands trad summer maybe therll be few going anyway..

Im on the kavanaghs course so Ill head to Lucan or elsewhere if theres enough to make it worth while, however my and kellies costs and commute time are going to skyrocket if we have to do Kildare.....dorset street...lucan......city... grreen bus to kildare...our last bus is 9.45 from city so im not sure how we can get to lucan after kavanaghs course to be honest :-\

Maybe just change the date of the weekend?...any suggestions from any Liffeyrs?
