Nice English bitter, lightly carbed. Would suit cask/beer engine. Crystal malt needs to be freshly crushed to bring out the best.
Hops could be all Fuggles or Fuggles and Goldings. Not necessary to bitter with Cluster or Pearle.
Looks more bitter than mild?
I do like a good dark mild, I also like a good bitter for that matter there are very few beer styles I dont like ;D
To me a mild will be less bitter, more malty, fuller bodied and maybe lower in ABV.
Almost a Porter
But then who am I to talk about style :o
