is it the same email address for paypal? (membership@nationalhomebrewclub.com)
Guys - I know we normally do lists .. but this is a little different
simply send an email to membership@nationalhomebrewclub.com with the subject membership
you will get back a form
pay and send the filled form back.
We just need to keep track of the applications using email and also correlate these payments to members.
Thanks
James
What about attaching the form here?
We fill it and email it to mem@...

Isn't technology great :)
@Partridge I am also guessing when you are a paid up member of the site you have access all areas, apart from access to those secret squirrels in IT of course ;) and there will be a members only part to the site for group buys, promos one off discounts etc?
Sorry guys -
Just in case people are not aware - you must be a member of the forum to be a paid NHC member.
The forum tracks the membership period
I cant think of anyone who wants to join who isn't on the forum - but I thought I should mention it just in case.
why don't you just tell us what information we have to provide and the paypal email address?
Then we can put all the details in the paypal message with the payment.
ok the payment never went through :-[, tried again and it prompted me for a delivery address this time, anyways put through another €6 it should be ok now
Payment Sent (Unique Transaction ID # 9PS04705SM208413W)
I think the actual charge is 5.52 from Paypal for €5 to be received and more for a tenner.
I'm sure Dempsey will clarify.
Just sent my email request, just wondering if it is a bit early to start a membership fee, hss the site hit 500 users yet
True enough but by that logic the active users could be well below the reg number, although this isn't the type of site you join on a whim.
As I say I will be joining and look forward to becoming more active both here and at meets but wouldn't like to see people not actively post on the site if they felt they needed to be members.

I'm lost, to many negatives.
Maybe I'm up to early.
Should it take long for the form to come through?
I've tried twice at half 3 and then 4 but still nothing in my inbox/junk.
Am I just impatient?!
I just payed via paypal & sent back my filled out form. Thanks.

Habit of mine, always get slagged about it. What I had meant to say was that I hoped non members would not be discouraged from posting on the site while it is still in its infancy
Never mind all that post pics of Hamburg Beer in a seperate post of course so as not to be off topic ;)

I don't see why they would, the site itself will function as always for non-members, but becoming a member has great benefits, for the discounts alone, it's well worth it!
And it's not just a website! I enjoy the offline aspect of this club a lot more than the online!
Can't get drunk online ;D
I emailed twice and still got nothing. Let me just check I understand the procedure. Blank email with subject membership will trigger a form I fill out?
Anybody else here want to help Partridge out? I'm volunteering, Partridge pm me.
Thanks for the offer John,
I'll attach the form to email to the top post - that takes an email out of the equation.
Membership is flying out the door -
Once the week is up we can access the situation - but overall I am very happy with the reaction - getting lots of positive feedback about membership and the club.

It's being done manually, so yes, be patient!
Haha! ;D Grand - it arrived!
Could someone point me towards the club bank details? All I found by searching was dead links to the old forum. Thanks.
just in case you send the bank details by pm or email, can someone send them to me too?
I'd like to join but I'm no fan of paypal.
I'll sign up to this after next payday.
