Title: 8.8kw Gas boiling ring: SOLD!

Ive one surplus to requirements as Im going electric for my HLT (still on propane for my boil kettle). Anyone interested in it? For sale or trade.  I payed 39e incl p&p.
Id take 20e for it.

Great. John its slightly modified so the burner head sits closer to the bottom of the keg. Much more efficient that way. What part of the country are you in?

If there is surf that weekend I could meet you in Ennis John. Im in Clare a bit when there is good surf. It usually kicks off im Sept so chances are high that Il be in Clare.

Once you have the burner, can I have look to see how it's modified to make it more efficient?

Absolutely, but whenver i et my mitts on it!
As I understand the gap from Burner to the base of the pot is reduced by a bit of bending.
Maybe Tom can post a pic and point to the modded bits.
