Title: malt in bread
Post by: christhebrewer on August 31, 2013, 10:42:18 AM
Yesterday I crushed a bit extra crystal 145 ( yes I STILL have loads left, trying to find ways to use it up!)
I made a normal  yeast dough with 450g strong white and 150g crushed crystal. It felt a bit funny but after rising overnight I baked it this morning in one loaf and to my surprise it's really good! I was afraid it was a bit heavy but it's not not at all.
Great with butter and home made marmalade!
Maybe I'll try some chocalate malt next.

Best of luck with it :)
