Thanks Eoin but it definitely doesn't look like sausage, just sliced meat. According to google translate lombo is back or loin. Cabeco is cabeco!!! Very helpful:) I was given it as a present from a friend who was in Portugal on holidays. Just curious if its beef/pig/sheep/horse/.... and if its cured to be eaten as is or if it needs to be cooked
I think I'm right, it's a cured pork loin. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Taste it, ffs, and tell us how it is. I've definately had lombo a few times in Portugal. Can't remember the details though.
