Post by: cronan on September 12, 2013, 01:26:04 PM
Hello all. I am Cronan from just outside Dundalk. Just started brewing this year, hope to go all grain with BIAB before the year is out.
I have just brewed 2 kits,  3 HBC extract kits and a turbo cider so far. Its a great hobbie.

Welcome aboard! Seeing a few Dundalkers here recently, it might be time to look into starting a local meetup!

Let me correct your last sentence:

A Dundalk meetup would be good with me.

I am bottling the turbo cider tomorrow I brewed it 3 weeks ago.  I will know in a couple of weeks what its like, hopefully it is not too bad. I am not expecting much so I just have 5 Litres on.

Hi! What kits did you do?

There's a brew demo on in Belfast on 28th if you fancied jumping on the train!

The kits were a Muntons Gold IPA Kit and a Woodfordes Wherry. The Muntons was the nicest but I was not a major fan of either.

Where is the brew demo on in Belfast, I could be interested in that.

On the turbo cider I bottled it today and it tasted nicer than I expected from the fermenter, I didn't expect too much tho.

Nice one! The plan is to have it in the Hudson on Gresham street.
