Title: Regulator issues
Post by: Rossa on September 15, 2013, 02:08:48 PM
I put together 3 secondary regs about 6/5 years ago and have had then working well in the fridge. Over the last week 2 of them seem to mirror whatever pressure is on the primary reg regardless of where I dial them to. This even happens when they are screwed out all the way.  I took them apart, as much as I could and cleaned them but I think they are knackered.

Any thoughts?

I think it is time for new regs. Any suggestions?

They're for scrap.
I'll take them off you ::)

Actually does that mean your primary reg is on the blink? Unusual for 2 secondary regs to go at the same time.

They don't seem to be frozen at all. I turn the primary to say 10psi and come back to the management board 5 mins later and 2 of the regs  are at 10psi too. The middle one will do what I tell it though. They don't go up straight away but sneak up to the same pressure as the primary over 5 mins.

Myself & St.Fursey have one of these lads Rossa

http://www.kegconnection.com/co2-beer-regulator-dual-body-three-gauge-taprite-brand/

They're awesome. They need a different nut put on to work here but thats no big deal (ive got a spare one here)

Ive an order in with keg connection right now. I can ask to see how much extra shipping would be if you were to add a regulator (if you wanted to go splits on shipping)  We might get caught for customs too as my order is 100 USD & so is the regulator. Worth taking a chance though as they're deadly regulators.

Cheers for the offer Tom. I'll hang on and try fix them first.
