I'm guessing Lambic!

Lambic! Correct.  Myself & Enda (and hopefully other club members) are gona fill the barrel with a lambic. Have to talk about it tomorrow night at the meeting. Id like to get the gone off hops & yeast sorted first. Think we'll need about 9kg of aged hops for the barrel so every little helps.

If you are going out of your way to go to town then dont. Il be up in Dublin end of Oct for the Bernard Shaw bash. We could do a swap then for conan slant + some homebrew.

Thanks!

If anyone else has any they want rid of Im yer man :)

Reckon it'd be grand to use a big mix of varieties?

Variety doesnt matter at all. "There should be no hop aroma, flavor or bitterness in a lambic, but you do need the hops for their preservative properties."

Do you have a copy of Wild Brews (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/0937381861)? Well worth a read if you're planning a lambic

Have a some German hops that have been in the fridge for close to a year now, they could find their way to the lambic! Will chat to you at the meet sure!
