Actually, if we're not restricting this to living musicians, and presuming Robert Johnson is a bit too famous, it has to be Blind Blake. He was a blues/ragtime guitarist from the 1920s (I don't understand these embedded yokes, so look here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZayTpvm0Yho )

Brilliant stuff to listen to whilst you're brewing - you can do all your classy moves with a pint in hand!

EDIT: Oh! It worked  :)

Must check out Blind Jake (u-tube is blocked here), like Robert Johnson anyway

For me it would have to be either Left Lane Cruiser or The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band

Love the drummer but his yellow jacket is off putting. He should be wearing jeans and a string vest to complete the picture. Back in the 70's when I would have given Delzep a run for his money on the hair front ;D',a band we used to go to see in the "old Moran's Hotel" basement was Jimmy Slevin and Firefly. We definitely believed they were destined for greatness but punk hit the scene and the likes of the Boomtown Rats were in.
I have a copy of the only album Jimmy Slevin and Firefly made. They used to sell it at the gigs.He was the only guitarist I new at the time that had a V shaped guitar. Jimmy Slevin replaced Gary Moore in the band "Skid row" which was popular in the early 70's.
