Just arrived today and I'm too excited to make up a starter so it's going straight in.
Will be ready in a week or so if anyone would like some. I haven't much experience with washing etc so you might feel more comfortable overseeing me ;D
Generation: 1st
Original purchaser: yes
Location: Glasnevin
just wondering if you cultured any of this for a swap ?
How much different is this yeast to S04
I think this is the Taylor's strain!!!?
It's a mighty fine beer on cask!
I'm just drinking a mild I did with it - I thought it was Sam Smith's?
Might try a Landlord clone with it next now that you've got me thinking!
By the way I'll have a spare vial or two of this next week if anyone in Cork is interested.

Timothy Taylor don't use the Yorkshire Squares; the Wyeast 1469 West Yorkshire is supposed to be Timothy Taylor.
There are only a few breweries still using Yorkshire Squares, it is still used by Samuel Smith's (Tadcaster), Cameron's Brewery (Hartlepool), Theakston Brewery and Black Sheep Brewery (both in Masham).
Interweb generally points to Samuel Smith as the WLP037 strain.
(WLP037 in fridge at the moment for a Black Sheep clone)

This does not mean you can brew in your bath, your sink, your dog's bowl ...
Your brewing area must still be clean, all gear must be fully sanitised beforehand, you cant have any dogs, cats, goats, young children wandering in to this. This is showing you an example of how if works in proper suitable conditions, its not a subsitute for good brewing hygeine.
