Title: Brewery Corner
Post by: mr hoppy on October 08, 2013, 10:28:00 PM
Dropped into O'Hara's brewery tap in Kilkenny over the weekend. Thought there was some pretty decent brews on offer. Would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through that neck of the woods.

Oddly enough, the missus approved of it's "box fresh" interior. :)

Have to say, if I'm allowed, the last time (ok, the first time as well) I was there, the beer wasn't great. Il Tubo had a cask beer that was just too old; my Helles was oxidised.

To be fair when I was in the cask (a barley wine) tasted a bit clovey, but I really enjoyed the other beers I had, especially the helles.
