Title: Cleaning toffee off pot?

Any ideas how to clean hardened toffee from saucepan???
Just made toffee apples and it's gone like a brick!!!

Have u tried covering it with hot water and heating on the stove?

Freeze it and that will do it

Boiled most of it off, will resume tomorrow...Might try freezing to get the stuff off lip of pot...knew I'd get the answers on here:)

1 chisel 1 hammer and a 10 year old with a few more to spare. Cleaned in a few hours ::)
