Title: crane lane
Post by: marzen scorsese on November 01, 2013, 08:11:08 PM
hey everyone im heading out in cork tomorrow to see a doors tribute band and its on in crane lane on south mall. when i checked the website i noticed that they have a fine selection of craft and im just wondering what the place is like, price of a pint etc.......

heres some beers they have on tap....... midaza, sunbeam pilsner, metalman, rebel red, friar weisse, blarney blonde, purgatory, howling gale ale, dark arts porter and sunburnt irish red. anyone tried these? ive had the 8 degrees range and liked the porter and the red but could have taken or left the pale ale which i was disappointed with since i like a good ole pale ale so i do  :)

cheers guys

Cheers il turbo I've only had it in the bottle and while it was grand that's all it was. But I'm definitely going to try it on tap and as I say it, the bottles I drank were being sold off for a euro a bottle and had been there a while. As far as I know that's not a good thing for some hoppy beers, although that may only be for dry hopped beers, and not a bad thing for a stout or red. Could be wrong mind

Make sure you hit the back bar. It's smaller and has all the micro beers. Enjoy!

crane lane was great and i drank some howling gale ale and had a smithwicks pale ale also both were nice but the howling gale ale was the best. must definitely try it again. i tried a rebel red too and that was great, a few of my friends were drinking that all night and loved it. unfortunately the purgatory was out i really wanted to try that. all in all id reccomend going there if your in cork and want a good pint

man u this weekend should be a good game, good test to see if they are up to it or not
