Does this relate to an end-of-course exam? Or an entry exam (i.e. the on-line one)? I've just started looking into this and would love to partake in the detailed course thats going on at the moment ... is there another course starting anytime soon?

Thanks Il Tubo - but what about the c5-10 month course work that another thread covers (monthly tastings and technical discussions) - how do i get involved in that prior to doing the tasting exam (assuming i should?)

Padraic runs that and it's practically finished. I dunno when he'll start another one but I would imagine it won't be till next year, with a view to the tasting exam being in Feb 2015.

This is the plan! I could probably do a quick course in January! One evening a week if we had enough interest but with only 10 spots and half of them not based in Dublin it is unlikely! I will hopefully be able to make some notes available for those sitting the exam in February though!

Great! One night a week would be difficult, but I'm defo interested in the once a month course in 2014 and detailed tasting. Thanks

Can you add Shane and Barry (both Nhc members) to the list? I think that brings us to 10. But we may have an 11th spot? The course is 19 people...
