Title: Beersmith 2 mobile.
Post by: Eoin on November 11, 2013, 12:08:24 AM

I think I criticised this in the past, it's possible I was an idiot. It's excellent, one critique is that I can't copy and paste a recipe list view on android it wants to use cloud. I resorted to a screenshot.
Apart from that easy and nice to use. I formulated the complete recipe on the phone.
Sweet.

have it on the ipad and its really handy.  done both 'making it up while heating the sparge water' and 'thinking about it the night before' on the pc. Editing the brewing data does not seem to update the general beer stats unless im doing it totally wrong

According to the description you need to save your recipe to the 'cloud' folder within the desktop version or something in order to access the data on the mobile version. Is the desktop version worth the money it costs for the license key to activate the full version in your opinion? Is the software renewable on say yearly subscription or is it a so called lifetime once off payment?

works in the reverse too, save your mobile recipe to the cloud folder and you can access it on the pc.
its one payment for 2 activations on the pc.  you get a 30 day trial so that should help you decide if its worth it for you
