= Nottingham yeast? Read that in a couple of places but it was a bit out of date...is it still rumoured to be the same?

its our house yeast, stouts, ales. Ferments well, clean and settles very well. Just drinking a nitro  dry stout made with same yeast and fermented at 23c with no odd esters. at least a year and no complaints and no issues. We get it in wilko in UK its 1.50 sterling for an 11 gram pack.
