Agree, that can be usefull.
That's why we have it in WIKI (http://www.nationalhomebrewclub.com/wiki/doku.php?id=hop_varieties)   ;D

Looking at it though I have to wonder what they mean by substitute, a lot of the suggested substitutes definitely dont taste like the other

I get that, but there is no replacing Amarillo for example

The 1st time I tasted the new version I was stood between both metalmen at the bar and said as much  ;)
I didnt know the recipe had been changed at the time but was filled in pretty quickly

That kind of rules out Amarillo all right ;D
