Title: Tea balls
Post by: mr hoppy on November 23, 2013, 02:44:29 PM
Anyone know where I can get these cheap in Cork city centre?

I see Gurman's tea shop sell them but 4.50 for a small one is fairly saucy!

I've got a few spare. I bought 4 and only used one. I think they're 4inch, I'll measure them later.

How many do you need. I'll swap you for a bottle of your finest?

Sounds like a plan. Did you get any of the Barrel imperial stout?

Are you looking for these to dry hop in keg or what ? If its for steeping in and fv then i would suggest the link below, it has the added advantage that it can also be used to steep small amounts of grain in boiling wort.

Maybe look for it closer to home on Amazon or something.

I use the net bags you get with detergent tablets for leaf. They have the benefit of a foam bit so they float.

Pretty much (see the other thread I started today). :-[

I assume even with a tea ball pellet hops in a keg are a lousy idea?

Yes i would think so, personally if i were ever to do this i would only use leaf hops, too much crap from pellets(see what i did there? lol)
