Local hardware shop was selling them for €35 until the lad that ran it died.
I see in Carrick-on-Shannon they're €25 on the Boyle Rd.
What's a typical price?

You sure? For the yellow ones? I got one in Carrick about 3 weeks ago for €25. (I buy coal there aswell as it's a fiver cheaper a bag)
I seem to remember Currans quoting me 45 for butane and 70 for propane a couple of months back for the 11kg size in each. I could be wrong though i dont think so.
paid 35 in the local build provider for the calor gas 11.3kg. Bout twice the price of petrol >:(
