Title: Black's Black IPA
Post by: mr hoppy on November 26, 2013, 06:37:16 PM
Saw review of this on the Beer Nut's blog. Does anywhere in Cork have it on at the moment?

The Bierhaus had it recently - not sure if it's still on or not

There's a recipe for a Black IPA posted by Sam in the best recipes section. Not going to speculate if it's the same one but it's definitely related ;)

Ah now, I'm trying to show some support here!

If it's not on draught in your usual craft beer haunts, ask them to get it in.  ;)

I think the Well have some that they will probably put on at some point over xmas. Might see if they will put it on the night of my birthday.

Should be going into the beirhaus and Abbots ale house in December and hope the FW have it in for Billy's party. It's pouring in the Folkhouse at the moment if your around Kinsale. Or just call up to the brewery for a taste!

We have a tasting in Dublin tomorrow so it's going to be in Probus wines and it's also on it merchants arch.

Nice review but it not nitro, it's just super smooth...

Good stuff, looking forward to trying it.

Is this just on draught.

Incidentally I was in a pub in Dublin recently and they claimed that they didn't have Kinsale Pale Ale (it was on the menu), because the brewery told them it was "a seasonal"?

@CH, Plane spotting? Are you ever at home?
I'd say you're like the lady on the Specsavers ad...
Gets off a train and kisses the wrong spouse.

Ps back on track
Had a taste tonight in Probus, nice malt profile but full on hops and a bit too much for my delicate palette and needs another month for me to start to enjoy, Hop heads will love it!
In bottle in Jan and I will be first in the Q.
