Title: Anyone got a small auto siphon I can borrow?

Need to siphon out of some demijohns. Thanks!

use a bit of tubing filled with sanitised water

No, just use the tubing. If its full of sanitised water cover one end with your thumb and dip the other end into your cider/beer. Then let your thumb off the other end and it should start to flow. Just let the water and the first bit of beer/cider to a pot and then divert the tubing to whatever you are siphoning into. (Assuming of course the demijohn is at a height relative to the container you are siphoning into. Something to do with Bernoulli's equation or something....hazy college memories)

Try it with a demijohn of water first....maybe mix in some instant coffee to darken the water so you can see it easier
