Can wine yeast nutrient be used with beer?

I use the wyeast stuff and it has dosages for wine and beer listed on front.

Asking cause there's a significant price difference between Young's & WLP yeast nutrients.

If you mean this stuff I use it all the time in beer and at a minimum it definitely doesn't do any harm.

I think the main thing that's in this stuff is a soluble form of zinc but i might be wrong. The white labs servo stuff is supposed to help fermentation take off like a rocket.
