Anyone know if you can buy card drops in Dublin?
I think the Tescos that sell homebrew stuff do them.
It's not too hard to batch prime though if you have some sugar.

I suppose you could use glucose drops fromt eh chemist too.
I used apple drops in a cider and they did the job, although they tinted it green ;D
Tesco? What do they know about home brewing?
Some spotty oik thought they could make a quick buck.
This is well covered...
If you're stuck...
Carb drops are 250g with an average of 80 per pack.
Thats 3.125g of Sugar/Glucose per drop.
Assuming you use 1 carb drop per bottle, 40x500ml bottles means 40 x 3.125g sugar = 125g.
Boil up 70ml of water, add 125g Sugar, stir until dissolved, allow to cool.
Individual Bottling...
Assuming 80ml total solution and 40 bottles.
Syringe 2ml of sugar solution into each bottle.
Fill.
Cap.
Batch Prime...
Pour solution into your bottling bucket, then rack from your fermenter onto this.
Fill.
Cap.
