Title: NCB Xmas Pud.
Post by: Will_D on December 04, 2013, 10:43:01 PM
After many, many (many, many - you get the drift) years of happy marriage we have at last made a Xmas pudding worthy of the North County Brewers seal of approval!

I hear you asking: WHY/ WTF is he on about?

Without giving away all the secrets that went in to our pudding, we used:

Bramley apples from James' Dad (or was it Marians?) :)

NCB Imperial stout fresh from the cask :)  :)

And just to boost the Octane level:

A good glug of 60% Pure taken from a cask that we found on a distant plannet a year ago! :) :) :)

The mix is now resting and hydrating (well that is not quite the right word given the ABV of the wort/wash) but the fruit is swelling nicely ( and gigglng like drunken girlies [or is that me] )

Watch this space on Steven's day for a review or better still pop round for a sample!
